Round Top Round Up

Well another Round Top show is completed.  For once we have absolutely beautiful weather for the first half of the show.  Great crowd on opening day.  One of the Marburger Farm parking attendants said it was the biggest crowd they had had in a number of years.  They were using parts of the parking lot they had never used before.

A blogger from Navasota who writes about Texas Stoneware featured one of our pieces in his blog.  Check it out at

Although we had a great time visiting with all of the customers at Marburger, all our plans for visiting with old friends at other shows in the area never materialized.  The day we planned on going to the Warrenton fields, it rained and turned everything into a mud pit.  The next day, our friends had to leave the show early for a family matter.  The next day (Prom night) we decided to go ahead and check out of the hotel because our son had coughed for three nights in a row (allergies I guess) so we missed all the fun at Prom.

We are already starting work on getting ready for the Spring show.  We have some great ideas so be sure and check back often and visit us at our next show.
